O Carballiño beat, for the fourth consecutive year, the record of the largest octopus cap. Over 260 kilos of octopus were cut on a wooden plate of 3.80 meters in diameter, which were later seasoned with 60 liters of oil, about 10 kilos of salt and half a kilo of pepper.
The huge octopus lid at the fair was subsequently tasted by the more than a thousand people who gathered in the Plaza Mayor to attend this new initiative of the town hall and the pulpeiros association of Arcos.
