THE FIRST EDITION OF HOLI PULPO BROUGHT TOGETHER MORE THAN A THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED PEOPLE BETWEEN THE PLAZA MAYOR AND THE MUNICIPAL PARK

The first edition of Holi Octopus was a success. More than 1,200 people of all ages participated in this party of colored paint in powder and music, which took place this afternoon between the Plaza Mayor and the Municipal Park, where the festival continued on the park’s kiosk track with DJ performances and holi paint, made with rice flour. The paint is totally ecological, without any harm to the environment.

One of the promoters of the event, Uriel Bernárdez, is totally satisfied with this initiative, as well as the town hall, which also collaborates in considering that this type of festival attracts youth and energizes the atmosphere of the town.

The large audience that witnessed the beginning of the journey about half past five in the afternoon from the Plaza Mayor to the Park, passing through the roundabout of the Emigrant Square and Julio R. Soto Avenue, from the cafeteria terraces and through the streets, watched the color show absolutely surprised but also amazed.

The event organization itself will be in charge of collecting all the garbage that is xenere in the park’s kiosk, so that tomorrow is completely clean for a new dance session for the elderly. #At the same time, tonight the streets and squares of the town through which the participants in this party will pass will be totally clean, which, according to the power of convocation and the result, can already become one of the most original activities of the programming of the LV Octopus Festival.
